The sides are pretty weak for this tier, 80mm on both the hull and the turret, with the tracks acting as 30mm of spaced armour. The cupola is hittable, however with its sloped and rounded nature adding up to an effective thickness of 180mm, you’re better of shooting at the front of the turret rather than risking bouncing off of the cupola. The turret front however is just a flat 185mm, which is fine if you keep your distance, but is a very easy and obvious weakspot to hit at close range, especially with APCR or APDS. From the front, the upper glacis of 150mm is sloped back to an effective thickness of 220mm, and the lower glacis of 100mm has around 180mm of effective thickness, making the hull overall quite bouncy, especially if you angle it. The armour of the Tiger II 105 is a mixed bag. Combined with the abysmal 8.1 degrees per second hull traverse whilst reversing, you should consider your escape routes before committing to a corner. The reverse speed of 11Km/h isn’t the worst there is, but just not enough to get you out of a sticky situation in a hurry. This, combined with an aced crew turret rotation speed of 18.5 degrees per second gives you a massive 40 degrees per second total gun traverse, which makes it quite difficult for the opponent to get around you without taking a hit. The 12.8 hp/ton power to weight ratio makes this tank quite mobile for a Heavy, being able to traverse the hull by 14.4 degrees per second on the spot, and 21.4 degrees per second on a rolling traverse. Fully upgraded, the 900hp engine will propel the 70.5 ton tank from 0-20Km/h in 4 seconds, and from 0 to its 42Km/h top speed in just short of 20 seconds.

As such, you have a higher chance of surviving the first shot, as the tank remains operational with only two crew members left alive.

The crew consists of 6: one driver, one machine gunner, one gunner, one commander and two loaders. The major differences between this version and the Tiger II H are the stronger engine, the better gun, and the range finder. Most of the time though, you’ll actually be paired with other tanks of a similar battle rating. In-game, the 105 is classified as a Heavy Tank and sits at a battle rating of 7.0, and as such can and will face top tier tanks like the Soviet T-10M. Due to the deteriorating German economic situation, the project was never launched. The turret was equipped with a Zeiss stereoscopic rangefinder and a ventilation system. The tank was to be armed with the new 105mm KwK L/68 gun, equipped with a stabilizer. The PanzerKampfWagen VI ausführung B mit 10.5cm KampfWagenKanone L/68(acht-und-sechzig) was a project commissioned to improve the combat capabilities of the tank with a boosted fuel-injected 900hp Maybach HL230 engine and an improved transmission.
